Introduction
Royal Resort is situated on a gentle sloping hillside on Koh Tao's Mae Haad Beach. Each bungalow has been situated to enjoy the best view possible and most of the bungalows offer a lovely sea view. What sets Royal Resort apart from many other resorts on Koh Tao is workmanshop that has gone into crafting each bungalow. Furthermore, the way the bungalow have been built give you the impression of living in a tree house (kids will love this!). The atmosphere is also excellent as the resort is owned and run by a very nice family. There are also plenty of choice with regards to different categories of accommodation.

The Standard Hillside Cottage is a beautifully crafted wooden bungalow with fan, toilet and shower ensuite. These bungalows are closest to the beach but does not have as nice a view as some of the other bungalows.

Ocean View Deluxe (4 persons)
Creme De La Creme in Royal Resort: two bedroom bungalow (two levels) with AC, mini bar, hot water and it's main feature: the outdoor tub on the top floor balcony. Very nice.
